Hi first sorry if already covered ...
I have Type 2 but do not check levels, I have been sent home to work from home. But my wife is now deem Key Worker (school) and currently has to work on. Should we consider saying as a Diabetic she should no longer work? Any thoughts folks. Cheers

If your paid it's all well and good ,sadly most people don't get paid .very much doubt the government efforts to help financially will be up to standards. If you in any doubt may catch some thing ,money isn't the every thing .health comes first ,with out health and well being every thing else will suffer. Schools are shutting down if your wifes working in closed environment she should be fine if follow protocol and general hygiene. Good luck with what ever you decide ,its personal choice

Also being send home at the moment is a choice of your employer because you can work form home. It falls under social distancing not self isolation. There is not current requirement for diabetics to self isolate.

We will find out on Monday which groups from the large list of people "at risk" are being told to actualy self isolate rather then practice social distancing,
