Ladies ( and gentlemen) what is your favourite perfume/scent ?

I have a few on the go at the moment, depending on mood:
Narciso Rodriguez - for him
Pascal Morabito - Or Black. I used to wear this in the 80s and recently discovered I could order it again from France :)
Prada - Infusion D'Homme

In the past I've used CK1, Joop, Kenzo, currently with Paco Rabanne Million and Bulgari Man.

Mrs Sanguine's current favourite is Dior Addict, Miss Sanguine's Pure Poison.

This thread reminds me of the classic Bob Hope line when he is in a gondola in Venice. He dips his hand in the water and brings it to his nose.
"Ah, Canal No5" he says to his lady friend. Classic.
Not sure how they smelled but I have fond memories of the Censored after shave ads, along with the Hai Karate ads too.

Coty ~ Wild Musk
the healing garden ~ tender lavender
Mother Earth Essentials ~ Sweet grass
mmmmm :):)

Many years ago I worked with a lady who used to bathe in Estée Lauders Youth Dew. Absolutely hated the smell of it. Her locker was next to mine and sometimes she would spray some in there to 'freshen' it up and the smell would seep into mine and make my things smell of it. On the odd occasion I've smelt it on someone, it always makes me think of her

That makes me baulk too. Overpowering.

My mum used to love 'Tweed' which I thought was horrible, not even perfume,o_O just cant think what to call it,........:yuck:

I LOVED tweed RRB :)

Still, I'm boring :) Never took a perfume to attract me to a lady. Always the face, the smile, the attitude, the mind and the eyes. Everything else was secondary. Below the neck was irrelevant except for what you'd eventually find in her heart.

But I repeat myself .... I'm just old school

Thanks RRB:)

Watch the film Serendipity (GREAT movie !!!) and and the song "when you know" by Shawn Colvin.

Taught me a LOT ..... when the chance arrives, take it.

When you know that you know who you love, you can't deny it.
Or go back, or give up, or pretend that you don't buy it.
When it's clear this time you've found the one, you'll never let him go
Cos you know and you know that you know.

When you feel in your skin in your bones and the hollow
Of your heart, there's no way you can wait till tomorrow.
When there isn't any doubt about it once you come this close
Cos you know and you know that you know.

You can feel love surround you like the sky 'round the moon.
This is how love has found you, now you know what to do

I've just realised from the title that there's only one gentleman on the forum - I wonder who it is? ;)

Chanel and opium and obsession ....
Sounds greedy but I only have one at a time ...usually christmas

Very similar:
Calvin Klein's Obsession
Yves St. Laurent's Opium
Vera Wang's Princess
Estee Lauder's White Linen

Cheapies:
Avon's Far Away
Coty's Sand and Sable

I loveeee perfume. :)

I have worn Polo since the 80's..........

Creed's 'Green Irish Tweed' is a favourite, but its just too expensive!
At the moment I use the body shop's 'Red Musk' oil even though its marketed as a womans scent, I really like the smell.
