Lantus?

Ive been wondering the past few days if I'm taking the correct amount of lantus at night. I was told a few years ago to take 22 units at night I've recently upped it to 28 units but I really have no idea if thats enough or too much?

What regime are you on? Do you take just the lantus? Is it split dose?

I would be inclined to do a basal test to find out.

Im on byetta twice a day and lantus at just nightime. I have just looked at the link but not quite sure really what I have to do?

Ah, OK? I do use Lantus. But with novorapid as a bolus... (No other meds.)
I can't realy comment on your personal dosage. (No one can.)

You do need to speak to your doc... A good log (diary.) of diet & injection time & units will help your consultant to help you..

Ok im not seeing anyone now until January/Feburary time. I'll speak to them about it then.
