I had a wonderful battered cod and chips at the Blist Victorian Village in Telford recently, all cooked in beef dripping the traditional way. Scrumptious.
We have been firm believers that deep frying should be done with beef dripping.I think the fat cooked in can make a huge difference.
Out local butcher has beef dripping on sale that they have rendered down at a reasonable price.
