So...having opted to take some time out from input to the forums/site partly due to my view that some (admittedly few) Type 1s felt that some Type 2 replies to Type 1 newbies were less than accurate or helpful and that things were feeling a bit less than positive, I decided to ignore my own obstinacy when I read a Type 1 member's reply to one Type 2 newbie's query regarding possible hypos that type 2s can't have hypos....to comment that this was inaccurate with reference to the earlier situation - my post was edited. Where was this editing when another Type 2 member who left was criticised for supposedly doing the reverse ? I think that decides it for me, guys. Feeling particularly hacked off. I guess I should have taken time out completely.
 
You weren't the only one edited. The post you were objecting to was edited as well to remove the incorrect information.
 
Mhm...and with the inaccurate info removed from the reply, that member's comment now looks brief and friendly while mine looks cheeky to the OP. Frustrated and thinking I shouldn't have bothered.
 
I recently made contact with the moderators regarding a posting issue. I felt the response I got was very helpful but was something that couldn't have been said on the open forum maybe.
Perhaps direct contact with the mods may give a better insight in to your concerns.
