Latest HbA1c results. Down again!

Had bloodtest last Friday. HbA1c results down again.

On diagnosis in August: 56 or 7.3
In Dec: 47 or 6.5
In March: 31 or 5

Weight has decreased by 2st 11lbs since August
Bmi from 34.3 to 27.6
Not sure about my waist - judging by belt 2 to 4 ins
Gone from size 18 trousers to size 14. (Expensive business this dieting)

Good incentive to keep at it.!

I wear mine under a loose fitting top shirt. You could buy onesies for about the house.

I just looked up braces on the Internet (Ebay) and found some unisex ones but it's OK it's not compulsory.

@yolageen - very well done indeed on your excellent results and weight loss, but everything comes at a price, and ours can be the cost of new smaller clothes!

Or ladies can buy trousers with elasticated or drawstring waists... I even ended up adding drawstring to some of my eventually too big elasticated waists to extend useful life, but in the end the overall bagginess was tending to trip me up so while my diabetes wasn't killing me I was in line for a broken neck from falling downstairs. I'm retired so have the luxury of no longer necessarily having to worry about appearance... but I certainly have enjoyed having some nice new clothes as well.
