Hi everyone
Just got my latest HbA1c results today. After 6 months since diagnosed at 48 . My latest results are . 39 , I’m so pleased
My weight has gone from 18:10 to 15:1 or 118.8 kg at the end of Feb to 95.7 kg
Doc says my iron levels have gone up a bit , but I’m really happy with these results . Correct me if I’m wrong but that reading of 39 is non diabetic range

Well done that man... another superstar in the making! Your reading certainly is in the non-diabetic range!

You smashed it! Your first non D number and I am sure it will not be your last. Carry on doing what you're doing 'cos it's looking great.

Isn't it a fabulous feeling when you get your first non D number? Congratulations !

Well done sir...I can top trump that though!

Just had a call from my docs to say that I'm now back in the non-diabetic range. My HBA1C has gone from 100 to 36. I've not followed any diet, just been on medication, which is now being scaled back for 3 months before I go for another reading. Been on Metformin (SR) and Glicazide, which I've been told to come off for now.

Keep on doing what you're doing, you'll get the result you want. As you can imagine, I'm rather over the moon right now.

Very well done Peadair! Keep up the good work!

My HbA1C was 116 on May 22nd. No meds. I started LCHF on June 5th. My HbA1C last week (after 11 weeks on LCHF) was 54.

Still some way to go, but I'm very happy with progress so far.

I've put on a kilo (weight loss was not my main goal), more than halved my triglycerides and ALT which are both now normal, but kidney function has decreased significantly. It's been suggested that I might not be drinking enough water on LCHF so will try to drink more and retest in 3 months time.

Thanks got all the good wishes and encouragement may ye all achieve the big ND result soon . Onward and upwards. ( or should that be downwards )

Hi.I have a similar story.Started dropping weight went from 14 stone to 10 and a half stone.Doctors checked my hba1c was 124.took metformin for a couple of weeks then stopped taking it went on keto diet.my hba1c went to 38 and has stayed there for last year and a half.I believe when type2s gets so bad it starts burning all ur fat it's the body repairing itself

Congratulations, it’s a wonderful feeling and a relief isn’t it? As you say onwards and downwards :)

Congratulations. Downwards hopefully!! just curios are you on any medications or not? whatever, exciting news and gives you more incentive to ensure you go downwards.
