Indeed - but maybe I haven't served a long enough diabetic apprenticeship here yet???

Ideally though I should probably be asking if she or @Rachox could possibly move that post and @John b50's question to a new thread for him...or edit it to clarify ?

Oh @nomoredonuts whatever shall I do?
I've had this helpful post from Daisy,
But following low carb advice seems quite crazy
So I'd really love some help from you!
Please tell me with no ifs or buts
Does it help to scoff donuts??
There's still some left on my pantry shelf,
So shall I go and help myself?
Then when my glucose is falling fast
Will this mean I'm cured at last?
( I do realise this may make no sense
But please allow me some poetic license...)
