If you can't wait til the 19th, you can buy a meter in your local large chemist tomorrow, or order online. The last one I bought was the Codefree off eBay. £13 the meter, £7 for 50 strips.

Always good to have a spare. ;)

I think I'll do that. My eyes are so blurry and the Dr said this is a problem when BS is high. Thank you.

Sorry o_O - but all I could think of is a car being jacked up 4"
via housebricks to change tyres .
 
The head of the bed is 4" higher than the foot, this gives the mattress a 4" drop and helps stop the stomach contents coming up and being breathed into the lung, another potential problem with a hernia

also book from amazon carbs and cals get full not pocket size
