LCHF sabotage factors

I downloaded "165 low carb paleo recipes & complete guide to the ketogenic diet from Martina Slajervero for iphone etc.

This book is brilliant for explanation and nutrient contents and ideas for recipes, it's analysis of what you need to do is great too.. May answer your questions and be a great reference tool.

Wow, thanks to everyone for all the input, that is a bit of an eye opener. Especially the higher fat ratio, and perhaps I will aim for 35 carbs or less, as well as increasing fat.
That gives me something to aim for now. Any further help is also appreciated.

Thanks again lgc and modesty007, i do have ketone strips, and a meter, what range indicates ketosis, and are there any safe/unsafe guidelines.
Do the tests always need to be fasting - and is early morning good enough?
I have read that as long as blood glucose is in the normal range, that ketone levels dont indicate ketoacidosis, but are there good guideline tables showing both measured BG and ketones and illustrating whether you are in ketosis, and as well as that, the safe limits for ketoacidosis?
Thanks.

Thanks.
Measure first thing in the morning. I've added a couple of links re ketosis, hope these helps.

Thanks for those, the problem is i have loads of questions, getting more detailed so perhaps I need to do more learning at this point, then start a new specific thread for these.
If something related to LCHF, feel welcome to PM me.
