Thank you - saves the family making a trip - and actually sometimes good to go back to a non- tech method! I survived pricking 10-15 times a day before and was probably more relaxed!!No problem that I have ever come across , just keep an eye on sugars using the “ old “ method the just use your reader when u get back to it but of a faff but it’s fine
I found it's the other way around. If you start a sensor with the app, you can only use the app. But if you start with the reader, you can also scan with the app. I don't know if that's changed since Libre 2 became a rtCGM.There is but I believe that if you have started a sensor with the reader you have to continue with that sensor.
I used the original sensors, and all that would happen if they weren't scanned with the reader within 8 hours is that some of the oldest data could be lost as the sensor memory had limited storage space.I have left my reader at home for my Libre2. Will there be a problem if I am away from it for more than 8 hours - seem to remember something about that? I have my fingerprick test kit
