When I think about the not getting enough nutrients part of the 1200 calories I really am not now anyway. As costs are too high for me causing me to only be able to get a few nutrients now. Without "starving".
Have you given any consideration to trying an alternate route? Lots of T2D sufferers have found relief using a non-low-carb approach.
 
Another reason for eating only once is because everytime a diabetic eats their insulin goes up and apparently that's not good to have it up so much.
 
Somewhat of a leap-of-faith and slight discomfort while adjusting. Perhaps not. Do you have a good relationship with your doctor?
It's good but there isn't time given to hear anything but what he wants to hear. I gave up and just get thru the appt.
 
And what's his general position on ideal treatment for diabetes?
Well for me it's the modern insulins. Toujeo and trurapi.
Despite the fact that the older ones work better for me.
Plus lab work every 3 months.
 
The biggest reason y not to get gastro investigations is that every trip to an appointment or test is $7 therefore several missed meals .
