As some of you know I had an appointment with a diabetic consultant (10/11/08). After looking at my notes for 10 minutes he noticed, unlike my GP has over the last 10 months, that i am actually a type 1 diabetic and my sugar levels only came down after I went on to insulin.
He sent me a copy of the letter that he sent to my GP and oh boy, wow, what a letter. I've never seen anyone so professionally ripped to pieces with words in all my life. I was absolutely crying with laughter. He highlighted the points that I have spoken to him about in the past and sarcastically asked why he has done nothing about it. I've had a severe restriction on test strips, like many others on this site, but I don't think this will be an issue from now on.
I've now got all the appointments I need and within a short space of time and it just feels so good that he, (GP), is getting some well deserved pay back in the slating he has received in the letter.
Regards
Hazey
