I'm due to start on pump on Mon. I take Levimer 10u at 8pm and 10u at 8am. I think I remember my nurse saying to skip the 8am dose that morning but to take the usual dose the night before. Does this sound correct? I tried to confirm with her but can't get hold of her

Sounds right to me. When I started pumping back in Feb I took half of my Basal in the evening, I wasn't splitting my Basal. Good luck on Monday :)

No, do not skip, inject as normal. When you then actually get your first cannula in the DSN will make a temp Basel adjustment to overcome the levimir in your system.

I went onto a 640G in April and was told not to miss my AM Basel.

Thank but I was eventually able to get hold of her and was told to skip my morning dose. I guess they all have different ways of approaching it
