Libre 2 ending early again.

L33

Newbie
Hi all,

For the 2nd time in a row my libre2 seems to last 9 to 10 days!

Scanned after my evening meal and it said an error occurred and to start a new sensor! Phoned abbott and they sent me out a replacement which is fine but they seems to be some sort of underlying problems.

Anyone else encountering such issues.

Yes, there have been numerous threads in the topic of Libre issues.
If you use the Search at the top right of the page, you will find them.

That said, I have been using Libre 2 for over a year and found it more reliable that the first version.

Hi,

Are you using the Abbott scanner or your phone?

Oddly, the last couple of days with my currant L2 it's been reading 3mmol lower than my meter. The other odd thing is there has been no fluctuation in reading on the graph for hours.. My DSN is going to think I've been hypo for the best part of the day with some of the Libreview data I got..
Lucky, I also use a 3rd party app & can calibrate. I have been checking & it's stuck down firm so I don't feel the sensor filament could have lifted resulting in the dodgy read outs.. It's just been saying I've been 2.9 for the last 3 hours? How I feel & the meter begs to differ.

I got a new one on ready for a change over, as it runs out today.

I think I'll scrap this sensor early.... That's how it goes...

Yes. my last Libre 2 ended early and was obviously a faulty sensor. Abbot replaced it and asked me to send the faulty one back when I gave them the error code from my phone.

I placed one too close to my elbow. The filament was bent when removing. After a couple of hours of putting it on. It was painful at times. Put up with it for a week. But then it wouldn't scan for an hour or so on two occasions. Called Abbott new sensor within a couple of days
