Has anyone else experienced this anomaly? It’s happened twice now. Works perfectly in my left arm, but I get mega-low readings in my right arm. So confused.
Do you sleep on your right side?
Could it be the way you're applying it?
Maybe you're doing subtley different when using your right hand to apply it rather than the left.
I know for a while I was convinced my left arm didn't like them at all, in the space of about 6 months, about 3 either made my left arm bleed (and omg one time there really was blood everywhere - I left a trail of blood on the floor when heading to the sink) or its was really painful, whereas I never had a problem on the right, I can only suspect its cos I was doing something strange when applying to the left - seems to have sorted itself out now.
I put my new one on the day before it's due to start.
Even the Abbott rep said that eventhough the official warm up time is one hour, it works best if you apply a day before activating it when I had my training last year.Do you find it takes a day to settle? I’ve not found that, but maybe I should wait a day before scanning it?

When I first started, I used to put it on 48 hours! Your body does need time to get used to the filament.
I always needed 48 hours for mine to settle too, otherwise i got very low, erratic readings, particularly overnight, for the first two days. I've posted graphs of this in other threads.48 hours? And you never had an issue doing it this way? Sounds good.
Hi I’m having a similar problem it works great in my left arm but when in my right I keep getting sensor signal loss alarm constantly then have to change it do t understand itHas anyone else experienced this anomaly? I have my sensor always on my right arm because I sleep on my left side, but I also have problems on low reading about 2 times a day. Then I have to prick to find out the reading is false and higher than sensor .Has anyone else experienced this anomaly? It’s happened twice now. That's a slightly different problem, but equally as puzzling. Do you keep your phone in your left pocket? The only reason I can think is that the bluetooth signal is so weak that it just about works on the left but the extra distance is enough to stop it working reliably. Doesn't seems very likely.Hi I’m having a similar problem it works great in my left arm but when in my right I keep getting sensor signal loss alarm constantly then have to change it do t understand it
Same!! My right arm does fine, but my left arm which is my dominant arm, constantly reads low. So, I'll use my freestyle lite meter and it's off by like 20-30 point's. Are we able to just use the same arm, but different stick point's?Hi I’m having a similar problem it works great in my left arm but when in my right I keep getting sensor signal loss alarm constantly then have to change it do t understand it
I’ve spoken to my diabetes nurse and she’s never heard of this from anyone else but said to just use the same arm but rotate area each time and so far it’s all working goodSame!!
