Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Recently LibreView stopped supporting W7 so I couldn't load in my finger prick readings from my Freestyle Freedom Lite.
No problem, I thought, W8.1 is still supported.
However so far I can't get LibreView to access my meter, although it used to work under W7.
Additionally, I went looking for CoPilot which is dedicated software to read the Freedom Lite and which I have used for many years.
I couldn't find a version from Abbott but only 3rd party download sites (which I didn't recognise and don't want to use).
Has anyone had either/both these problems?
If so, how did you fix it?
I have downloaded the latest drivers and tried both Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
I can see the software accessing the cable because the green LED turns orange for a while.
When the light turns green again the browser "twitches" as though it is trying to take some action and failing.
This is consistent between Chrome and Edge.
