Lidl not doing Protein Rolls any more?

Trying googling your own local store. It should tell you.
Unfortunately lidl.ie doesn't show what bakery products they offer :( ah wel...
I live miles away and usually don't go down that stretch of woods at all but my take a trip and find out. Be nice to have especially to start with LCHF diet

They have said they are not discontinuing them so no panic and they are aware of our need for them. Their popularity is growing because of it....hence the baskets being empty so often
And they wouldn't want to upset the bodybuilders! :D

Have any of you tried the sliced loaf Livlife sold by Waitrose? It tastes very similar to the protein rolls. Each slice is 3.8g carbs and it's filling so you don't need many slices. Had 2 slices toasted this morning with scrambled eggs. My premeal figure was 4.5 so no bolus needed! Mazin!

Soy and linseed Bergen loaf is similar, its not a Lidl roll I know, but it does not spike me like the roll either.

These are the ingredients for the rolls, if they vanish I will be trying to bake them. If I find a good ratio of ingredients I will let you all know.
I just wonder what they use as a raising agent?
