i've seen this site in forums and facebook type 1 diabetes life insurance
it seems people with type 1 can be approved on a case by case basis

Hi @tonydiabetes123 that site appears to be a US one, though I do agree it shows proof of concept.
When I applied for mortgage life insurance in the UK (many years ago) I had it as part of an endowment policy from the bank, and they didn't refuse me because I was T1.

Hi Tony! Hope you managed to get your insurance sorted - I'd definitely recommend looking through that page for help that EllieM has recommended. I'm newly diagnosed myself but my mother in law struggled to find life cover with Type 1, she didn't have any luck until she looked at iaminsured.co.uk - they seem to specialise in this type of insurance so could be worth a shot if you're still finding it difficult!
