I am not on that particular gliptin, but with any meds that reduce blood glucose levels, and do have side effects if you are susceptible to them, is talk to your GP.
You are on these meds probably to get your levels to near normal levels, adjustments will happen and if you haven't read the information with the meds you should, because it details side effects and also has information about the likely event of having hypo symptoms. Your GP or dsn should be monitoring you, whilst on these meds. If you have any concerns, your surgery is the best place to go.
