Im at the end of the road because im 4 metformin, 4 glicacide, 1 injection daily of insulin, 1 weekly injection of dilugatide, and now another of empagrif is this too much as im at the end of my life thats how I feel please contact me as im done with it all please reply as im struggling thanks lonashjoe
 
I am o so much medication that I feel like stopping them as I have just been put on more medicine when will it end im really at the end pf the road please help
 
Ok, sorry to hear that you are on so many drugs and struggling...

Why not list the struggles. And side effects if any and ask to be put on straight forward basal/bolys injections or biphasic ones that are normally to jabs a day.

Have you been tested to confirm you are T2 not T1?

Guidelines state the docs have to do treatments in a set order... I think that as you sound so low with whats going on that you need a simpler routine. Plain straight forward insulin is a straightforward routine. Yes, you have to learn but the plain injections do not have side effects like all the meds that you are on can have..

Never alone. I'm so sorry that you are at such a low ebb. It does seem a lot of drugs to me but I am no expert on diabetes. Having said that I do know what it is like to be on a lot of drugs (I sufffer two other conditions which cause chronic pain) and I have at times stared at my medicine box and thought 'What is the point of taking all these tablets and yet still be in so much pain'. The point really is that without my meds I would be in even more discomfort. It took a long time to get my cocktail of meds right and not a little arguing with my gp. The advice above is worth investigating further but the first step is to see your gp and tell him exactly what you have told us. Sending you positive vibes, remember that you are in control and you CAN change things.
 
Agree you are never alone!!

Have you been tested with a GAD or c peptide test to ensure you arent a T1?
 
Im on 9 tablets a day, 1 insulin injection daily and a weekly injection is there any future for me im at the end of my rope and om only 52yrs old

Whats happening? Anything specific? As its been a fair while since we've heard frm you?

Only you can take back the control in the situation that you are in. Yes, you are on 9 tablets a day but you can try to improve your situation.
What is your diet like? What are your glucose levels like, and is the medication helping your levels?

Depression is something that can affect anyone, but living with diabetes can seem like a great big uphill struggle, so it's no wonder that many diabetics can suffer from depression too.
It's important that you speak to your GP or Diabetic nurse and tell them how you feel. You may be able to be referred to talking therapies such as counselling to help you cope.
Do you have a support system around you at home?
 
Wish I stilll had the photo of tablets I used to take in a ramekin and 3 injections before getting up even!
But, we are all different and if current meds are getting you down or any other situation you need help....

Either help to see if you can adjyst your living to need less meds

Or help to get meds that make you less despairing

Or help to accept life is what it is..

Please let us know more and see what actual help we can offer by way of messaging you.
 
Its not easy having diabetes, especially when you are on a real cocktail of drugs - if you feel you can't see any light at the end of the tunnel and are struggling to cope then why not give the Samaritans a ring on 116 123 x
 
I have reached my limit as I am taking 9 tablets a day 25mls of insulin once daily and a weekly injection my quality of life is 0 I have no wjere to turn is this the end for me please reply linashjoe

If you have not taken any notice of the advice given to you on this forum then I have no idea what could be done.

Can you give some indication of what sort of help you need, or expect
