This morning i tried lizis gronola crunch on recomendation from wallycorker who i would like to shake his hand. On first impression i thought what a rip off £5 for a 500g bag but looks are very deceiving. I had a 50g portion with a handfull of rasberries and a coffee all with skimmed milk. I didnt do a fasting test but the 1 hour test has shown 5.3 after 1 hour.(weetabix being 10.5 after 1 hour so a big smile right now) Will let you all no what happens after 2and 3 hours.Thank you wally looks like i have a easy cereal to take to work with me woohoo. Does anybody no if the over flavours are ok because i noticed they were cheaper but did not have the low gl advertised alll over the bag. Also if any one is intrested i have found a very tasty cheap past which seems to do very well with my blood sugars .It is chilli penne drum wheat pasta. the packaging quotes 100g of pasta has 30.2 g of carbs. i meaured 40 grams out which after cooking is actually 80 grams so be carefull when measuring . I put half away for today to have cold with salad . i had the other 40g with salad cheese and ham. 6.2 post meal 6.4 after 1hour 6.7 after 2 . i had a apple on the 3rd hour and tested 6.4 after 1 hour. remember 20 grams of uncooked pasta turns into 40 g after cooking. FINALLY IM GETTING SOMEWHERE DUE TO TEST TEST TEST
. Once again thanks wally pstttttt is it worth adding a few shreddies to the crunch or is that being a pig?
