Hi everyone

I’m new here after recently been diagnosed with type 2.

I’ve picked up lots of meal ideas from the forum already. Could anyone tell me if the lo-dough pizza based are suitable for a LCHF way of eating? They’re 2.2g per base.

They have been mentioned, but mostly for their high price.
There are other options such as fat head pizza dough, a cauliflower option - but they are home made.

Thank you so much replying. Despite the high cost, are they ok carb wise?

I have been looking at the alternatives that you’ve mentioned as well.

Yes - as long as you are OK with the ingredients then they are fine from what I have read.
Other options are 'chaffles' - that is, cheese waffles. I have made those in various variations and they seem fine for both sweet and savoury with small additions to mask the eggyness.

That is great, thank you. I will look at the chaffles!
I am so thankful for this forum as I have no other information to go on.
