Lockdown

Hello all. I've posted a couple of times in the past but thought I would share this. I have been T1 for over 40 years (now 50) and whilst I have never completely abused the condition I have never been a saint neither. As a teacher I have been off work for getting on 11 weeks - back in March i promised myself I would do my best to prioritise my diabetes. With the knowledge, experience and advice of the great people on the site I have managed to get a degree of control I once couid only have dreamed of. With a lowe carb diet I have reduced my insulin by 50% and I have lost a few pounds too - moreover I feel really well. I am aware lockdown has been e extremely challenging for some of us and that is understandable but for me it has been life changing. Jon

Hello @Emmet thanks for sharing this - amazing work, for some I think this lockdown has been a revelation.
