SORRY I GOT THIS WRONG INFO FROM A MYTH

If you lock your keys In the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors.
"Try it" ( it may save you a lot of hassle being a diabetic ). Does it Work ?

It does not work with my classic car, there is other ways to get into cars, how do you think I make my living !

Hear is a very helpful hint if you somehow lock the car with the remote keys left in side.

Neat tip and idea Roy - thanks for sharing it

I don't want to do it but how do you lock your key inside the car when you need the key to lock it? Is this a silly question? Unless you have a Smart which automatically locks after a short while even with the key in the ignition

Very useful info for me  as I drive a Smart.

It normally happens when people put the shopping in the boot with keys then shut boot down "woops" to late.
So cars are not very clever and some to clever.

hi, Giverny :)
Now is your opportunity to borrow one. (sorry only only joking).
We tried it on my sons cars a Seat and VW Golf, They both could not believe it.

Must admit I thought it was to simple to believe.

Actually your are wise not to have a car.

Absolute boll  ....errrm bunkum!
All modern cars have remote locking systems that work via a chosen radio wave spectrum and not audio frequency.
