they left the jelly comments as theres a panorama being made now for later on in the year its called "the wonders of the wobble" it sets out all the physical and mental health issues associated with the long term abuse of jelly, they asked me to guest on the show but i said i couldnt as i was filming a movie over in LA with j-lo & vin diesel called "triple j" or "jJj"

I was amazed when the lady from 'Benidorm' said she was surprised that what was going on inside her was quite different to what she looked like on the outside!!

I think she meant more that she felt fine and healthy and didn't look like what she thought someone would look like suffering any of those serious illnesses? (I kind of understand what she means, I thought my eyesight was great (apart from being longsighted) until a letter landed in the door saying I'd proliferative retinopathy and needed laser - it was a major shock.)

I hope the treatment benefitted you. I have 'survived' 4 annual retinopathy checks so far which is why I am so interested in evidence of damage caused by temporary, mealtime spiking, as I'm not going to sit on my laurels (they're still intact too!).

I was a little annoyed when Chrissie Rock said "I don't feel ill" well there's no reason to feel ill!

Lots of people feel ill prior to diagnosis and feel relieved once they know why they are tired, have skin eruptions, suffer from thrush, pee for England etc.... Chrissie obviously did not have any of these symptoms.

I enjoyed the programme and hope that many people watched it. It is a pity that these types of programmes are not rolled out on a regular basis to make people aware of the "silent killers".

I guess it was the way she said as though she should be feeling ill. Also because I've never felt ill or had symptoms of diabetes I can't understand why people do.

Hi, Yes he is Type 2,I found this out after he was on, I'm a celebrity get me out of here, as the medics on the programme gave him his tablets.

The worsening of my eyesight is actually caused by the laser treatment itself. In order to save the central vision they have to laser parts around it which may (and in my case, has) effect peripheral vision and night vision. Unusually it has also had an effect on my depth perception as well. Though the negative effects are slowly diminishing so I'm hopeful!

Perhaps the test would have been distorted due to salmonella in her breakfast eggs?

Edwina Currie was the short lady in the red jacket. She was not tested further as her questionnaire didn't indicate anything of concern.

The girl whose parents were both T2's (Jodie Prenger) was further tested but shown not to have T2 but was obviously classed as being at risk. She was featured in the second programme and was shown being given diet and exercise advice to try and minimise the risk of her being diagnosed T2 in the future.
