soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I knew it was coming. She was over 17 years old and had been blind for years, plus she had got very frail the last year or so. We found her when we called them for dinner and she didn't move. She was tucked up in her duvet and had obviously slipped away peacefully. She showed no signs of distress.
I know they don't live as long as we do and I lost her mother and others in similar ways over the years, but it never gets easier!
I just know I did right to let her live her life to the end. She ate her breakfast this morning as usual, so Iwasn't expecting today to be it, but she'd had a good life. In her youth, she'd been placed at Crufts and won the breed club championship.
She hadn't really done much the last couple of years and had just pootled about at home.
I'm sad, but also glad she had such a kind end.
Ihave one of her sons and one of his daughters, but she was special as are all of them.

RIP doggy X I'm so sorry. My dog Holly was 14 when she died and she is buried in my back garden, with a cushion for her rested head, That was in 1998 and I have never got another dog, too hard. She was also very special. You have lots of wonderful memories and thats the way to go, just drift off in a very deep sleep :) With very best wishes RRB

I'm really sorry to hear about your dog Hannah. Hugs from me too. Riri x

So sorry about your loss, at least she slipped away peacefully in her sleep, but she will leave a big doggy shaped hole in your life.
Requiescat In Pacem.

Hana I am so sorry. It doesn't get easier, and their loss always leaves a doggy sized hole in our lives. She passed happy and painless, and that is I hope something you will be able to remember, and feel comforted by. (((Hana))).

Oh Hana ((((Hugs))))

These things always leave a massive hole in our lives, remember the good times and the funny quirks that she had. She couldn't have sliipped away any easier than like this.

I'm so sorry for your loss Hana.
I know what grief you are feeling now as I too have lost many friends. Think what a peaceful end she had and didn't have to suffer any illness due to old age. Give the others lots of love as they will miss her too.
(((((hugs)))))

I'm so sorry Hana. Losing a beloved pet is just heartbreaking. *hugs*

So sorry to hear your news Hana. Loosing a loving companion is hard but you know she had a long and happy life and that is all any of us can hope for. May she run free over the Rainbow Bridge. (((((((Hana)))))))))
