That's freakin' wonderful! Both what you have managed, and the reaction of your specialist! Sounds like a keeper"In my twelve years of working in this field this is the best set of figures I have seen. I have only seen two or three other sets of readings that come anywhere close to this in all that time!"
Forgive me my undisguised curiosity (can't think of a believable way to diguise it) but what happened and is it a good story? Whatever it was, I hope the other guy/gal/door/salon table is off worse than you areMy nose is not so sore and my eye is blacker, that said my pride is well bruised
Happy Monday team
Thank you all for your well wishes. My nose is not so sore and my eye is blacker, that said my pride is well bruised (being a Leo us lions don't take kindly to bashing ourselves)
SO... Down to business Forgot to test first thing, went in the shower had brekkies (eggy bread with bacon and 3 cherries... Mmmm! Coffee and double cream) stabbed my finger watched the blood sucked up the strip and saw the screen flash up 5.8
Now today Mon 20th I start my 7th week on insulin and am off to see, for the first time, my diabetes specialist at the hospital.
I am unsure what he will think about my 30% reduction in insulin and my 50% reduction in Glicaside in 7 weeks!
I know what I think he should say.... (My daily average is 6.0) However that might differ hugely from what he actually does say.
Watch this space as 'they' say!
Have a great day Ya all

UPDATE: I have just returned from my hospital appointment.
Quote from 'The diabetic specialist' after downloading my reader readings...

He went on to say... "I want you to stop taking insulin with immediate effect!"
O M G!
You will have to change your status now. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
You may well be right bb. Thanks for your help along the way btw. You are an inspiration mate.Well done you.. he obviously hasn't met many low carbers... you might have to ditch the eggy bread though.
