Low carb programme and CKD

Is there any information about the low carb programme and if it is suitable for people with ckd 3 eGFR 43? Any information links would be appreciated. My HB1AC is 48 and I need to lose 2stones . Thanks . The programme is on offer and I’d like to purchase it.

Well it looks as if I’m now CKD 3b so low carb is not recommended at this stage. Dr Jason Fung was very interesting. I think some sort of fasting may help me. Thank you for the information.
