Hi, I'm male, 63 and T2 for years. I've lost two close relatives with complications. Last November I received a call from my DN to say my last set of results were dire, Hba1c of 75 and said urgent action was required. I pleaded to be given time. I was lost but looked up this site, read every post I could find and made a start immediately. It's been difficult. Bloods now stable, lost 12kgs and Hba1c today 45. DN congratulated me but really should have congratulated all of you. My sincere thanks for putting me on the right track and answering questions which sound stupid. I owe you all, the fight goes on!
