Sorry, should have read the other thread, please accept apologies.
We are all different when it comes to how our bodies tolerate carbs (or not). I know that if I ate what is considered to be the normal amount of carbs, 250gms or more, then I'd have to take more medication for my diabetes, possibly start on insulin, and even my GP would ask me to take statins again. So that is why I eat less than 100gms of carb a day, usually only 80gms. I could go lower, but I like my vegetables. You might like this video from an Australian TV program called "Catalyst".
