Low (er) Carb Takeaways

Currently I am eating a lot of takeaways and fast food because of my circumstances. This is an entirely new experience for me as normally I cook my own grub from scratch and don't live near enough to takeaway and fast food outlets to be tempted .

The problem is I have no clue what the carb content of any of them actually is, and as a result my BG levels are soaring . As I'm a veggie too, there is next to no help from "Carbs and Cals". So I would be very grateful if anyone has any suggestions for lower carb options from Indian and Chinese takeaways, or just any suggestions really !

At the moment I just don't have time to cook at all, or even shop properly, so taking anything with me from home apart from something I can grab on the fly is not an option:(

Tinned fish?
Pork scratchings?
We don't need three meals a day.
No one in history would have expected to sit down and eat three meals a day when you think about it.
The sauces are probably the culprit.
Have you tried the bullet proof coffee for energy and appetite supressing ... amazing stuff.

Indian wise you are best getting a selection of dishes from the accompaniment section- all sorts of spinach, cauli dishes etc. just avoid anything that has aloo in title as they are spuds. If you can manage lentils and beans dhals are ok and some places do chickpea curries which might be ok for you ( I can eat a few pulses without too much of a rise).
Chinese is harder as they are often full of sugar and MSG which doesn't do wonders for BS. Maybe just a simple stir fry dish- some places do glass noodles or cellophane noodles which I think are rice based and might not raise sugars as much as wheat ones.

Thanks !:D That is really helpful, as I haven't a clue regarding takeaway food

Bulletproof coffee sounds brilliant, but not right now , as I'm not getting regular sleep and catching 40 winks as and when I can .I'm stuck with vending machines mostly , which are no advertisment for eating healthily in any shape or form. Strange as they are situated in a hospital
