I'm the same as @Brunneria, very carb sensitive. I could eat the steak for sure. The rest of the starchy foods not at all ever.
Maybe you should have just one of the starchy foods per meal instead of all in one meal. Then you can get a better idea. For me, all of them would effect me even if I only had one. I actually use a small spoonful of hummus I'm a little low. Raises me but doesn't sky rocket me but it really just a teaspoon or so.
Sweet potato is a wild card. Always sky rockets but I usually go low first, too low. I can't get my insulin to correspond with my foods so I eat low carb
I do agree fatty foods keep me lower but stay there longer.
