My partner suffers from a lot of stress, tiredness and has totally lost his sex drive, I am not sure how to approach it. Any ideas?

I know ED is an issue for some male T1s. Can you get him to talk to his GP? It should be treatable. There's no need to suffer in silence.

We haven't been together long, only a year. He doesnt monitor his bloods either, so I talk to him about that. It's been totally swept under the carpet, I dont want to nag and I love him soooo much. I dont want to add more pressure really. I know we have to talk about it, but I just dont know how to without sounding selfish. Just feel like there is a whole playful element missing in our relationship as he is avoiding intimacy. He is very much committed though.

You come across as a very caring and loving partner, that's why you are asking for help, it does look like he needs help with his diabetes management from his GP, who can refer him on, or his diabetes specialist, as ED is not the only complication with uncontrolled diabetes. Take care, good luck and all the best, I hope the future will be better for both of you.
