Looking for a low sugar version of hot chocolate so I bought Green and Blacks cocoa powder and made it with unsweetened almond milk and a small teaspoon of sweetener. Very lyfli indeed  Hope my sugars don't suffer as a result but can't see it.

Sounds lovely, I have been wondering what hot chocolate might be the best.....I love almond milk.....

Me too - always use it on cereal nowadays. The drink was super and I think the good quality cocoa and only having to use a bit makes a difference.

Hi Riri
Is the coco 70%
I am going to get some....
I also use almond milk in porridge and on cereal, it's good in sconces as well, I use xylitol in them it works for me....

Green and Blacks is the best cocoa I have ever tried. it tastes lovely for baking and making cream frosting. I need to try it for hot chocolate now!

Hello - it doesn't say on the tin. The ingredients just says organic cocoa powder. About to test sugars next.

Blood sugars 7.4 two hours after supper and had the hot chocolate about 45 mins ago so result !!! Brilliant - so good when you find something indulgent and a bit naughty but doesn't send those sugars sky high. Happy bunny.
