Not sure for too low, mine was too high.Got my lipid profile report. My trigycerides are too low(31mg/dl) but I have high ldl(126mg/dl) and am on statin(not taking it regularly).Total cholesterol is 202mg/dl. HDL = 65mg/dl . I do eat carbs (nuts and seeds ) Is low trigycerides cause for concern?
Yes.....Not sure for too low, mine was too high.
But as you seem interested in your numbers....
I did find this calculator rather useful trying to evaluate mine
Worst case you'll know little more, best case it provides a little guidance until you get the answer to your query.
You don't need to install anything.
Just put the few numbers you have, skip trigs and see what it suggests the trigs should be.)
My outcomes at DX was I should be dead...
6 months of lchf,
They said I'd live forever
The link is the US version, so mg not mmol.
(Mmol is available for others if they search )
Good luck finding out .

What diet for lowering ldo?is the diet working?I read and also my dietitian told me, that once you start statin you cannot quit and you have to take it for life. My doctor suggested 5 mg statin, which I used for 6 days and stopped. I told my MD that I Will treat it with a diet.

Statins (rosuvastatin - 10mg) is causing higher AST/ALP (liver enzymes). I was told to reduce the dose to 5mg/day. Also was told to avoid cheese, meat, egg yolks.
Trying those things for a month and then will check cholesterol, liver enzymes.
I have started to eat egg whites and tofu, sprouted mung beans, home made low fat milk cottage cheese. Nuts and seeds - almonds, walnuts, pistas, brazil nuts, peanuts, cashews, hazel nuts, pumpkin-sesame, water melon seeds, chia seeds.
Yet to try lupin and hemp hearts...
Although liver making more cholesterol when dietary cholesterol is limited is true for some people, I seem to have Familial dyslipidemia. Dyslipidemia is charaterised by less number of ldl receptors in the cells so ldl is blood is elevated.
Due to low carb diet my trigylcerides have dropped dramatically (35mg/dl to 60mg/dl) and HDL has gone up (60mg/dl - 70mg/dl). Only ldl is a problem.
