I was wondering if a low carb diet can reduce blood pressure?
Mine today was 124/76 this is the lowest I have ever had over the 5 years.

Yes, definitely. It's one of the well known benefits and advice on starting low carb can often include a warning that if you are on blood pressure meds, you may need to reduce them. Doesn't happen for everyone immediately, but you appear to one of the lucky ones.

As said, yes indeed. Well done, keep up the good work.

I’m on BP meds but even on them my BP was running around 145/85 before my diabetic diagnosis. My average is now 121/78. I had put it down to loosing weight rather than the actual diet, who knows, though it’s all good :)

My blood pressure dropped from around 128/80 to 108/80 after going low carb.

High BP is often due to insulin resistance, with the resuilting high insulin level driving the high BP. High BP will often drop within the first few days of "low carb", "intermitanat fasting", or "Newcastle Diat".
