Made this today which came out very nicly risen and produced 15 slices at 8g carb a slice - 50g slices
160g rye flour
2 eggs
75g vital wheat gluten (from amazon)
2 tbsp Splenda
300 ml water
100g mixed sunflower and pumpkin seeds
25g unsalted butter
2 tsp fast acting dried yeast
75g flaxseeds
8g caraway seeds
Bung it all in the breadmaker and put in on the basic cycle ( 1 hr 55 on my panasonic bread machine )
Next time I'm going to try substituting some of the rye flour with ground almonds / soya flour or more flaxseedsto drop the carbs a tad lower
