Haven’t been a very good boy since Christmas, gained half a stone and upped my carbs not drastically but have allowed myself extra!
Also been going for a bacon sausage and egg sandwich on white bread every Sunday.
Needless to say I was dreaded my final hbac1 for a while after having 2 years of 30 and 32s which resulted in me being placed into remission .
Got my results today - 31 result!
Dr says doesn’t need to see me for a while now wohooo!
Good to know now I’ve shifted the weight as long as I’m sensible most of the time I can relax a little from time to time.

Congratulations on your result, really good!

I was thinking when I had my hba1c last week for excuses if it went up, it did fractionally but I keep in mind that it's a narrow escape, not a way to roll back to my old ways

Unsound like I'm a stern teacher warning you, sorry!

Well done @Paulm80 I had the same apprehension re my hba1c as I hadn’t had mine tested for over 18 months and I seemed to be eating slightly more carbs than usual but it was still ok.
