made big changes

I just wanted to share inhave made some changes which are bign for me

1. cut out sugar having sweetner instead
2. started gym twice a week
3. sticking to balanced diet

Wonderful to know you are doing the right thing to be healthier and stronger. Be consistent and you will be fine. Good luck.
 
If you are eating the balanced diet which includes starch and fruit then you are still taking in a lot of carbohydrates, and your body doesn't differentiate between starch and sugar, it all becomes glucose and has to be dealt with, or not, by insulin. If you don't realise where the glucose is coming from it might be disheartening.
 
Well done for the changes to a healthier diet and lifestyle Jess.

Just a word about the sweeteners as they can have some side effects such as dizziness and/or stomach problems. Hope you don't get any but thought it was worth mentioning.
