You and me both - the 1lb that is - total weight loss since starting is exactly a stone.
My BGs have been all over the place - not impressive - but I don't think it was the food, I'm fairly sure it's joint inflammation (arthritis). This morning's FBG was 6.2.
Yes, I'm going to carry on with it, too. It seems to be getting progressively easier and definitely not the torture it was last time I did it. I've worked out my menu for the next week and have stuck it on the fridge and have made sure I've got everything I need to prepare those meals - so I haven't got any excuse to not stick to it.
Still doing great ladies, I know its hard but don't be put off with the small stalls it will pick back up.
Consider this 5 and 7 bags of sugar worth of weight gone !!! That is no mean feat
Well. It has happened. Bit of a binge last night... a daft one as well with lots of carbs.
I felt a bit sad this morning but I've got up, put my big girl pants on and am moving on.
Lashes are going on, a lick of lipstick and an extra spritz of perfume.
Fast day today. Hopefully until tomorrow morning.
I've been slightly higher carb lately and I think that's the problem. So as from tomorrow it's 30 grams of carb per day.
Have a good day everyone!
Hi Mona
Isn't this stall miserable? Yesterday I was absolutely famished but (with a lot of rumbling and gurgling) put off eating until dinner - yet I still hadn't lost anything more by this morning.
My FBG is adjusted to the reduced amount of food I'm eating and is back up to the low 6s. I knew it would adjust so its no surprise - just irritating.
How are you managing at school? Still taking a packed lunch??? I doubt that school meals are the same as they were when I was a girl but I used to really love them - much better than the food at home (my Mum was a really bad cook).
Well done on your fast! (You aren't driving if you feel your reaction time is longer???)
I can't get over how much your dog looks like one of mine - except he looks calmer - but then again any dog is calmer than Jack. Here's a picture of mine - left to right Millie (8), Archie (4) and Jack (20 months)

Are you both using ketostix ? A while back I had no peppers so I replaced my pepper with a small onion (meant I had 2 onions) it did 2 things, it gave me a small spike and took me out of ketosis until the following day.
The worst part of this whole diet has been the lack of carbs, its true I have dreamed of bread rolls.
But again don't get hung up on it, you have both done awesome and I know first hand just how hard it is.
Fighting a huge craving monster tonight
@Peerless67 Yes, I'm using ketostix - not that it seems to do me much good. At the beginning my ketostix were changing colour quite dramatically but, even though I'm eating the same calories and carbs, I'm lucky if they change colour at all.
@marathonmona - how old is your boy? Archie was completely daft until he turned two and then changed in to the gorgeous dog he is now (very popular with both humans and other dogs), Millie has always been a very good girl but Jack.... oh dear... I am living in hope that one day he'll put his grown up pants on and behave like a Labrador should. He's my seventh Labrador (or eighth if you count Archie) and I've never had one quite like him before.
