Yes! Since I was diagnosed eight years ago I have been singing from the rooftops now that no-sugar added marmelades are readily available. If they are in my country, with population only 5 million, they will be in more populated bodies of land!
I have tried out two new brands (mine are Australian) and neither raise my blood glucose levels, after extensive 'eat and meter' testing. And yes - seventh heaven indeed. (I bake my own keto bread to have the marmelade on, or when a bit more flush or out of town - store bought keto bread for toasting, although that tends to be tasteless stuff.) (Because I am LCHF - I have lashings of butter.)
There is a range called “good good” that do low carb jams, I think they do a marmalade. You still have to mind your portion size as they are about 4g carb per tablespoon. They are quite expensive and because they’ve no preservatives in they don’t last as long (although I use them past the “opening date” - I got mine from Amazon which I think they were slightly cheaper
All of our sweet spreads are naturally sweetened with stevia. The best keto friendly spreads available! Add a little sweetness to your life, without the added sugar! Low carb and low calories. Our most popular products!
ps on the natvia marmalade - it is so good as a diabetic-friendly marmalade that you can forget about having to share it with non-diabetics! It is not very sweet at all apart from oranges and apple low-key sweet) - just how I like it.
I make my own, every jan when the seville oranges are in season. I have to boil it down more to thicken it as I use a little sweetener instead of loads of sugar so the result is very intense.
This time of year it would work with ordinary organic oranges plus a couple of organic lemons to get the tang.
Organic as you want unwaxed fruit to use the peel and I find organic citrus fruit has a better flavour.
