Thought this was really interesting. The InPen now connects with Guardian CGM through a phone app. Read about it here. Apparently Novo is working along similar lines with their next reusable pen.

As far as I'm aware the NovoPen 6 and NovoPen Echo Plus smart pens were released in select coumtries at the beginning of 2019, if not then I know they were at least trialled in Sweden with great success
