Medication for coughs and colds.

I got a head and chest cold; I reached for the benylin and the strepcils without thinking. I had my usual low carb breakfast, and tested a couple of hours later. So, there I was expecting my usual after brekkie reading of 6.0 - 6.1 :) Oh no! It was 8.8... :(

Scarey! Now I suppose I have to try and look for sugar free cough medicine and throat lozenges.

As I said; the things we take for granted ..................
 
Thanks for warning me I didn't even give it a thought , I didn't know Rennies had sugar in them
 
Pholcodeine (not sure of the spelling) is sugar free and suggested for diabetics. It is ok in taste and will stop you coughing. Available at chemists. Hope this helps.
