Hi can medication increase your Bgc? I took my fasting this morning 13 then the only thing I had was my medication with water went to do bloods before breakfast and it was 13.8. Thanks

It’s more likely to be dawn phenomenon, your liver dumping glucose to prepare your body for the coming day. A natural process but unfortunately not helpful if you have type 2:

Hi @Buddyshaz,

This is still within the margin of error for meter readings. Thirteen mmol on your meter could in reality be 15% lower or higher, in other words anything between 11 mmol and 15 mmol. Meters for home use are not absolutely exact.
