Medtronic giving set and swimming

Hello.

I'm on medtronic 640g and every time I go swimming the set comes off, it is absolutely useless getting wet, whether in a pool or the sea.

Does anyone have any tips or help on how to keep it secure?

I'm off to centre parcs next week so don't really want to have to do a set change every day. It's also bothering me that I can't enjoy the beach as much this summer as I tend to stay out the sea until the end of the day

Thank you

Hi @Ica291 I use the Sure T and swim alot with no issues of the set coming off, I would speak to your DSN and see if you can try the Sure T for the week, they should have some spares in their office you can get off them, it's quite a robust set, also get some Cavlon spray to use on your skin before you apply the set, it's a barrier spray so designed to protect the skin but it's good at also protecting the set from oil in the skin which can make the set fall off more easily, if you can't get the sure t set then get some tegaderm plasters off ebay to cover the site which should work fine too.
