Good morning every one im starting to use metaformine last week with two dose of 500g but i feel unweel lot of vomatinig i cant eat any thing!! When i smail any food got vometing is this normal!! and when will be finish?? please help
 
Hello @SIDIYA It's quite common to have side effects - ask your doctor for slow release metformin as it's more gentle on the system, also try taking it with food and not on an empty stomach.
 
Metformin made me nauseous as well, although I was able to tolerate 2 tablets a day but not 4.

Ultimately I changed my diet to very low carb, and that was the best option for me as I no longer need to take any Metformin at all. Take a look at low carb or keto diets, so many T2s on this forum have been able to normalise their BG and dump the drugs.
