Hi everyone...where is the best place to get a meter reading thing from? Its ok im new to all this do need to ask...thanks in advance

SD Codefree is cheapest to buy strips for and is a good basic meter that will connect to a PC if want to store your results.

Check with your doctor or diabetes nurse you may qualify to get it on the NHS have you applied for a medical exemption card ?

Most of us T2s can't have them on prescription unless using insulin or gliclazide etc. We buy our own, and find the one with the cheapest test strips is the Codefree. You will need a lot of test strips initially.
