Type 1 Metformin / glucogen injection

I'm wondering if your a type 1 diabetic also taking metformn incase of a severe hypo does the metformn stop the glucogen injection from working properly

I am on Metformin and Insulin although I've never had a reaction severe enough for glucogen, when I've had a hypo, I've always been able to eat something sugary and bring my levels back up.

Hi. As @tpaz says, much of the time even with a hypo, taking glucose in some form should work. I've often wondered whether Metformin stops the liver's natural recovery mechanism working fully. The web is very quiet on the subject but I suspect it does which one reason I asked for my dose to be halved recently.
