Metformin possible side effectd

Hello, I am new to the group and since increasing my Metformin tablets to two in the morning and two in the evening ( both with food) I think I may be suffering side effects.

My B.S. readings have stabilised to around 7.2 to 7.8 but I am getting headaches in the afternoon.

Over the New Year I had a really bad cold but thankfully this gone now.

Any comments would be welcome.

Hi @G.Coldron and welcome to the forum, it could be your headaches are a side effect, but that’s something you need to discuss with your GP or diabetic nurse. Have you checked your blood sugar when you get the headache to see if there is any correlation there?
